Classic virus protection works with signatures - it detects threats that are already known and have been cataloged. Modern attacks work differently: fileless malware that runs in memory. Legitimate system tools that are misused as an attack vector. Attackers that move unnoticed in an environment for weeks before striking. These attack patterns require more than signatures - they need active detection, analysis and immediate reaction.
EDR & XDR

The difference between recognizing and protecting.

Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR) is the successor to the classic antivirus program, but not a direct replacement. While antivirus blocks known threats, EDR continuously analyzes the behavior on a device: Which processes are running? Which connections are being established? Which files are being changed? Behavioral anomalies are detected, even if there is no known signature.

Extended Detection & Response (XDR) goes one step further: it correlates signals from end devices, identities, email and cloud services to form an overall picture. A single signal is often inconspicuous, but it is the combination that reveals an ongoing attack.

We implement, configure and operate this stack on all end devices in your Windows, macOS and mobile environment. All devices, centrally monitored, in a single security dashboard.

Device compliance & access control

A device that is not compliant will not be granted access.

Endpoint security does not end with the detection of threats - it starts with the question of which devices are allowed access to your environment in the first place. We define the compliance guidelines: Is the operating system up to date? Is encryption active? Is the device status known and trustworthy?
Devices that do not meet these requirements are automatically excluded from accessing company resources, regardless of whether the credentials are correct. This is the direct link between endpoint security and identity protection: Conditional Access not only checks the user, but also the device.
Mobile devices, smartphones and tablets running iOS and Android are treated equally. An unprotected mobile device with access to company email is a blind spot that we systematically close.

Employees are the biggest security gap

Automated systems recognize known patterns. Threat hunting goes beyond this: our analysts actively search your environment for indicators that point to an ongoing or imminent attack without triggering an alarm. This is particularly relevant in the case of APT (Advanced Persistent Threats) attacks, where attackers deliberately remain under the radar.
If an incident is detected, whether through automatic detection or active hunting, our incident response process takes effect: containment of the affected device, analysis of the attack vector, clean-up, recovery and seamless reporting. Every step is documented.
This service runs 24/7 at two locations in two time zones. Security incidents don't know office hours - neither does our response.
